Problems using the site

Evidence and corrections
If you think a claim, source or assumption needs correcting, email hello@withinrange.nz. Please identify the passage or result, explain your concern and include a source link if you have one. Field experience is welcome too; let us know the circumstances so we can understand the comparison.
Request an ammunition load
Can’t see the factory hunting ammunition you use? Email hello@withinrange.nz and include:
- The cartridge, manufacturer and product line.
- The bullet weight shown on the box.
- A manufacturer or retailer product link, if available.
- A clear photo of the box label if a useful link is unavailable.
- Where you have seen it stocked in New Zealand, if known.
Every request is checked against manufacturer ballistic data and stated hunting intent before it can be added. Retailer listings may support current NZ availability, but do not determine the model’s ballistic values. Target and varmint loads remain outside the hunting assessment selector.
